Helping you reach your potential.
As a Certified Integral Coach and HR Consultant, I bring over 30 years of experience and passion to help people and organizations grow and develop to realize their full potential.

Leaning in on intuition.
I get tremendous satisfaction helping someone find their own path and have been witness to many people’s changes and inspirations from our work together. I enjoy working in the intuitive, creative realm by using music, poetry, collage art, and imagery to uncover beauty and new perspectives and pathways to development. I believe that we are all a work in progress and that change and choices are always accessible.
Helping to chart your own course.
I draw deeply from the well of many traditions and cultures, mostly directly from Judaism and Buddhism. I was raised in New York in a family that treasured education and growth. I learned from both my parents, who were engaged in work that they loved.
I moved to California in my 20s with a pioneering spirit about my life direction and wanting to chart my own course in an environment that was open to new ideas and possibilities. I worked as an elementary and preschool teacher and then went into corporate training throughout the U.S., Asia, and Mexico. I have worked in several companies in the for-profit and non-profit world, and have led my own consulting company for the past 15 years.

Steve is my professional guru. Steve is so knowledgeable about everything related to human behavior and human relations in the workforce, and really in life in general. He is an expert in his field, training others how to navigate their career. You would be lucky to work with him.

My full story.
Steve Leibman is an integral coach, HR Consultant and founder of Bridging-the-Gaps,
with extensive and varied experience in building confidence and clarity for many
individuals and companies. Steve synthesizes the knowledge and caring into his own
practice that started with his father, who was a psychologist and professor at Queens
College, and his mother, who was a public-school teacher; and both dedicated
themselves to helping others to reach their potential.
While in his teens, Steve participated in the Encampment for Citizenship, a residential
6-week immersive experience with a multi-cultural group of young people learning
critical thinking while working as volunteers on the Blackfoot Reservation. This life-
changing experience inspired Steve to continue as a volunteer with the Encampment.
Steve now serves as the Finance Chair on the Board and actively fundraises and
provides HR support and mentoring to young people. Steve moved from New York to
California in his 20’s and became an elementary school teacher; working with refugee
children from the Viet Nam war. After a few years of working with children, Steve
transitioned to the business world, becoming a training professional in communication,
feedback, career development and teamwork.
Steve was inspired to combine teaching skills with Human Resources knowledge, and
soon began working with organizations that needed both HR and training. This fits into
his ability to understand people from where they are currently and to encourage them to
ignite their growth and potential upon entering the business world. Steve has worked for
organizations such as: Jewish Community Federation, American President Lines,
Imagine Media, Tetra Tech, and BPM. To further deepen his skills, Steve worked toward
a Coaching degree that facilitated his work with individuals at all stages of their careers
using a holistic and integrated approach.
Currently, Steve primarily works with non-profit organizations in a multi-role capacity,
merging the needs of HR, development/training and individual coaching. Steve loves
spending time with his family, which includes his two children, Rachel and Coby, and
granddaughter Ella. Steve and his wife Liliana enjoy the great outdoors, traveling, and
recently finished walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain.
